Lahm Ajin ( Meat Pie )

Total Time: 32 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup hot red pepper or 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (the objective here is not to create a hot mix...its all about the flavor...so feel free to adjust to)

Recipe

  • 1 once you are done with blending all the above in your food processor -- mix all the above with the meat -- i recommend that you marinate for at least 2-3 hours -- and remember -- the mix that you have created will be okay in your refrigerator for up to 48 hours -- if you feel like baking fresh ones the next day or two.
  • 2 remember you can apply your mix to pre-cooked or fresh dough -- this recipe should cook quick -- 10-12 max if you using cooked dough -- for fresh dough 20-25 depending on your oven --
  • 3 preheat your oven to 450 for best results -- enjoy.
  • 4 sam freij.
