Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 2 lbs onions, chopped fine
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cups tomato puree
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 4 cups water, more if needed
Recipe
- 1 brown ground chuck, onions and garlic together& drain fat.
- 2 add remaining ingredients.
- 3 simmer together 1 hour or until desired consistency (should be like a thick chili).
- 4 serve over hot dogs on buns, smother with finely-diced onions, if desired, and enjoy.
