Hot Dog Sauce

Ingredients

• Servings: 16
• 2 lbs ground chuck
• 2 lbs onions, chopped fine
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 4 cups tomato puree
• 2 cans tomato paste
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
• 4 cups water, more if needed

Recipe

• 1 brown ground chuck, onions and garlic together& drain fat.
• 2 add remaining ingredients.
• 3 simmer together 1 hour or until desired consistency (should be like a thick chili).
• 4 serve over hot dogs on buns, smother with finely-diced onions, if desired, and enjoy.
