Awesome Mexican Casserole

Ingredients

• Servings: 8
• 2 (15 ounce) cans prepared chili, divided
• 2 (15 ounce) cans beef tamales, divided
• 1 (8 ounce) package shredded mexican cheese blend
• 8 ounces diced onion
• 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
• 1 (6 ounce) container guacamole (optional)
• sour cream (optional)

• preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c).
• spread 1 can chili into the bottom of a baking dish and top with 1 can beef tamales; repeat layering. top mixture with cheese and diced onion. spread salsa over the cheese layer.
• bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 25 minutes. top with guacamole and sour cream to serve.
