Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 celery rib, small dice
- 1 carrot, small dice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 potato, small dice
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon sazon goya seasoning, orange box
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sofrito sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Recipe
- 1 brown beef and onions until carmelization starts.
- 2 add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3 bring to a steady simmer, turn down and let simmer stirring occasionally until vegetables are cooked (about 50 minutes).
- 4 serve with tortilla chips and enjoy.
