Mexican Salad

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 (8 ounce) bottle thousand island dressing
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 15 ounces canned kidney beans, drained
  • 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 6 1/4 ounces doritos
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • tabasco sauce
  • chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 brown hamburger, drain grease, toss with beans, salt, and chili powder.
  • 2 simmer for ten minutes.
  • 3 place onions tomatoes, and lettuce in large bowl.
  • 4 toss in cheese.
  • 5 toss again with dressing and tabasco.
  • 6 remove 10-12 doritos from bag and crush remaining chips into small pieces.
  • 7 add crushed chips to salad.
  • 8 add ground beef mixture with salad and toss.
  • 9 decorate top of salad with remaining doritos and avocado.
  • 10 serve immediately.
