Mexican Salad

Ingredients

- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 (8 ounce) bottle thousand island dressing
- 1 large avocado, sliced
- 15 ounces canned kidney beans, drained
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 6 1/4 ounces doritos
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- tabasco sauce
- chili powder
Recipe
- 1 brown hamburger, drain grease, toss with beans, salt, and chili powder.
- 2 simmer for ten minutes.
- 3 place onions tomatoes, and lettuce in large bowl.
- 4 toss in cheese.
- 5 toss again with dressing and tabasco.
- 6 remove 10-12 doritos from bag and crush remaining chips into small pieces.
- 7 add crushed chips to salad.
- 8 add ground beef mixture with salad and toss.
- 9 decorate top of salad with remaining doritos and avocado.
- 10 serve immediately.
