Mexican Shredded Beef

Ingredients

- 1 lb beef stew meat, trimmed of all fat
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon oregano, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 dash pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. cover, reduce heat, and simmer about 2 hours or until beef is tender.
- 2 uncover and boil for 15 minutes until water has almost totally evaporated.
- 3 remove from heat and shred using 2 forks.
