Mom's Meatloaf

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (i use 85 to 93 percent lean)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs in a large bowl.
- 2 add the milk, onion, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and sage. add the beef and mix well. shape into an oval loaf and place in a roasting pan.
- 3 in a measuring cup, mix remaining ingredients and pour about 3/4 cup over the meatloaf. spread evenly.
- 4 bake at 350 for 1 hour and 5 to 10 minutes. ( no pink should remain in the meatloaf).
- 5 drain and let stand 5 minutes before slicing. serve with remaining sauce mixture.
