Mom's Whatchamacallit Soup

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups macaroni noodles
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped up
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon pepper, to taste
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 3 -4 cups water
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped up

Recipe

  • 1 in a large deep skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped up clove of garlic, (then drain the fat).
  • 2 in a large pot, boil the macaroni noodles til al dente, drain the water from the noodles.
  • 3 then add the macaroni noodles to the ground beef mixture, stir in the chopped onion, cut up whole tomatoes, tomato paste, stir until paste is dissolved.
  • 4 add in the salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 cook for about 20-30 minutes.
  • 6 serve and enjoy.
