Mom's Meatloaf

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2/3 cup finely crushed saltine
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, beat the eggs.
- 2 add milk, saltines, onion, salt, sage and pepper.
- 3 add beef and mix well.
- 4 shape into an 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch loaf in an ungreased shallow baking pan.
- 5 combine remaining ingredients; spread 3/4 cup over meatloaf.
- 6 bake at 350°f for 60-65 minutes or until no pink remains; drain.
- 7 let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
- 8 serve with remaining sauce.
- 9 note: i grease my pan and i also pour all the sauce over the meatloaf while it bakes.
