Quick Mushroom Sauce For Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces sliced mushrooms, reserve liquid
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 4 drops kitchen bouquet

Recipe

  • 1 in medium skillet, heat mushrooms in oil.
  • 2 stir in flour.
  • 3 cook over low heat stirring until mixture is bubbly.
  • 4 remove from heat.
  • 5 add enough water to reserved mushroom liquid to measure 1 cup.
  • 6 stir into mushroom mixture with bouillon cube.
  • 7 heat to boiling; stirring constantly.
  • 8 boil and stir 1 minute.
  • 9 stir in kitchen bouquet.
