Microwave Classic Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 crumble the beef into a 2 quart microwave-safe bowl.
- 2 add onion.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
- 5 drain.
- 6 stir in the tomatoes, chili powder and mustard.
- 7 mix well.
- 8 cover and microwave on high for 10 minutes.
- 9 add beans and mix well.
- 10 cover and microwave on high, 3 minutes longer.
- 11 add salt and pepper.
