Heidi's Meatloaf Mistake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 cup ketchup

Recipe

  • 1 mix well ground beef with onion, eggs, bread crumbs, cottage cheese, milk, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce. mix dry mustard, brown sugar, nutmeg, and ketchup in another bowl. pour half of dry mustard mixture into ground beef mixture, and mix well. pat ground beef mixture into ungreased 9 x 12 baking dish. spread the other half of the dry mustard mixture on top of meatloaf. bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
