Jaegerschnitzel

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 veal cutlets, pounded thin
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1/3 cup red wine

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, sauté the mushrooms in butter. remove from pan and reserve.
  • 2 sauté cutlets briefly. remove from pan and reserve.
  • 3 add flour and stir until just fragrant.
  • 4 add stock and wine, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • 5 return mushrooms and veal to pan.
  • 6 heat through and serve.
