Mexican Hot Pot

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb stewing beef
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans, undrained

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat in hot oil in a dutch oven.
  • 2 add onions and saute until tender.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients and simmer uncovered for 11/2 hours.
