Layered Mexican Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 (11 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 1/2 cups taco bell home originals thick 'n chunky salsa
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 5 cups tortilla chips, divided
- 1 1/2 cups kraft shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 brown meat in large skillet; drain.
- 3 add corn and salsa; mix well.
- 4 cook until heated through, stirring occasionally. set aside.
- 5 mix cottage cheese and sour cream.
- 6 layer 2 cups of the chips, 1/2 of the meat mixture, 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese and 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture in 2-quart casserole dish.
- 7 repeat layers of chips, meat mixture and cottage cheese mixture.
- 8 bake 35 minutes.
- 9 insert remaining chips around edge of casserole; top with remaining 3/4 cup cheddar cheese.
- 10 bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
