Houston Tater Tot Hotdish

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb ground beef
- 0.5 (16 ounce) bag frozen tater tots (more or less depending on how many will fit on top of casserole)
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 cook tater tots according to package directions.
- 3 meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet. drain off fat.
- 4 add chopped onion to browned beef; saute until onions are soft.
- 5 add soup and veggies to beef and onion mixture. stir well.
- 6 add salt and pepper as desired.
- 7 pour mixture into a ungreased 8x8 baking dish(casserole); cover with cooked tater tots.
- 8 bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbily.
- 9 enjoy! this is even better the next day!
