Houston Tater Tot Hotdish

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) bag frozen tater tots (more or less depending on how many will fit on top of casserole)
  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 cook tater tots according to package directions.
  • 3 meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet. drain off fat.
  • 4 add chopped onion to browned beef; saute until onions are soft.
  • 5 add soup and veggies to beef and onion mixture. stir well.
  • 6 add salt and pepper as desired.
  • 7 pour mixture into a ungreased 8x8 baking dish(casserole); cover with cooked tater tots.
  • 8 bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbily.
  • 9 enjoy! this is even better the next day!
