Lancashire Hotpot

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs rump roast, sliced thinly
  • 3 potatoes, sliced
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 4 large carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 layer a 3 quart casserole dish:.
  • 2 sliced potatoes, then onions, then carrots, then beef, add salt and pepper.
  • 3 repeat layers.
  • 4 pour stock over the layers just until covered.
  • 5 put in 300f oven for 2 hours.
  • 6 serve as is with crusty bread.
