Mini-meatballs

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 slice bread (thick slice)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2-2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup

Recipe

  • 1 soak bread in milk.
  • 2 squish into pieces.
  • 3 add meat, egg and spices.
  • 4 mix thoroughly.
  • 5 form into small balls.
  • 6 brown gently on all sides in skillet lightly greased with oil.
  • 7 put balls in oven proof dish.
  • 8 add soup and 3/4 can water to skillet juices.
  • 9 mix and simmer slightly.
  • 10 pour over meatballs.
  • 11 heat, covered, in a 325 oven approzimately 45-60 minutes.
