Pasquale Spaghetti

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb fine ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 cups peeled chopped tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

Recipe

  • 1 combine meat, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and chili powder. form into quite small sized meatballs.
  • 2 heat oil in frypan, brown meatballs, add onion and garlic. when browned, add tomatoes, chicken broth, wine and tomato paste. simmer 30 minutes.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper.
  • 4 serve over thin spaghetti al dente.
  • 5 top with parmesan cheese.
