Ingredients

- 1 lb fine ground beef
- 1 tablespoon dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 cups peeled chopped tomatoes
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Recipe
- 1 combine meat, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and chili powder. form into quite small sized meatballs.
- 2 heat oil in frypan, brown meatballs, add onion and garlic. when browned, add tomatoes, chicken broth, wine and tomato paste. simmer 30 minutes.
- 3 season with salt and pepper.
- 4 serve over thin spaghetti al dente.
- 5 top with parmesan cheese.
