Meat & Green Bean Casserole

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups frozen green beans, defrosted and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 5 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 in large skillet, saute onions in a little oil.
  • 3 add ground beef and salt and pepper to taste and brown the beef.
  • 4 add drained beans and tomato soup.
  • 5 pour into 9x13 baking dish.
  • 6 while beef is browning, boil and mash the potatoes with milk, egg, salt & pepper.
  • 7 make small piles on top of meat mixture.
  • 8 bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
