Ingredients

- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans
- 1 1/2-2 cups chicken stock
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 cup small shell pasta
Recipe
- 1 brown & drain ground beef.
- 2 add onion & carrot, cook for about 3 minutes.
- 3 add garlic & spices; mix thoroughly.
- 4 add tomatoes, chicken stock, & beans.
- 5 simmer for 20 minutes.
- 6 add uncooked pasta & cook for another 10-12 minutes.
