Pasta E Fagioli

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans
  • 1 1/2-2 cups chicken stock
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 cup small shell pasta

Recipe

  • 1 brown & drain ground beef.
  • 2 add onion & carrot, cook for about 3 minutes.
  • 3 add garlic & spices; mix thoroughly.
  • 4 add tomatoes, chicken stock, & beans.
  • 5 simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 6 add uncooked pasta & cook for another 10-12 minutes.
