Italian Style Meat Loaf

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (10 ounce) can campbell's condensed tomato with basil and oregano soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten

Recipe

  • 1 combine soup and water in a small saucepan. spread 1/4 cup mixture over base of loaf pan; set remainder aside.
  • 2 combine beef, rolled oats, dry mustard and worcestershire sauce and egg in large bowl. press mixture into 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 -inch loaf pan.
  • 3 bake in preheated 350f oven until beef is cooked through - 50 minutes to 1 hour; let stand 5 minutes before slicing. heat reserved soup mixture to boil, stirring often,. simmer 2 minutes and spoon over meat loaf slices.
