Meatballs

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped finely
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup capers, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 1 large egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup red wine
  • chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • spaghetti, for serving

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 2 meatballs: combine all ingredients and mix well using both hands.
  • 3 then shape into golf ball size pieces.
  • 4 place into frying pan.
  • 5 cover each ball with marinara sauce and pour 1 glass of red wine over the top.
  • 6 bake for about 45 minutes, until cooked through.
  • 7 finish with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  • 8 serve with spaghetti.
