Meat Loaf With Cheese Stuffing

Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 3 cups fresh bread cubes
- 1 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 cup green pepper, minced
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 2 (8 ounce) packages sharp cheese slices
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
Recipe
- 1 combine beef, cubes, onions, green peppers, eggs,horseradish, salt, mustard, milk, and catsup.
- 2 divide into 3 parts.
- 3 pat 1 part into loaf pan.
- 4 cover with 5 overlapping cheese slices.
- 5 spread with second part of beef.
- 6 cover with 6 overlapping cheese slices.
- 7 add remaing beef mixrure.
- 8 invert loaf onto jelly roll pan or foil covered cookie sheet.
- 9 bake at 350* for 45 min.
- 10 crumble 2 slices of cheese over meat loaf, bake for 5 min longer.
- 11 cool for 15 min before serving.
- 12 garnish with parsley
- 13 slice to serve.
