Mum's Bolognese

Ingredients
- 750 g minced beef
- 800 g chopped tomatoes
- 100 g tomato puree
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- mushroom
- 1 garlic clove
- mixed herbs
- 500 g spaghetti
- oil
Recipe
- 1 peel and chop onion.
- 2 chop pepper.
- 3 chop mushrooms.
- 4 crush garlic.
- 5 shallow fry mince slowly in oil until brown.
- 6 add mince, onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic to pot.
- 7 squeeze in half a tube of tomato puree.
- 8 add chopped tomatoes, be sure to drain them if they have a lot of juice.
- 9 stir in a teaspoon to a teaspoon and a half of mixed herbs.
- 10 bring to the boil and simmer for 1.5 hours.
- 11 10 minutes before serving boil the pasta.
- 12 serve hot with optional garlic bread.
- 13 can be frozen immediately after cooling.
