Italian Crescent Casserole

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef and onion, drain.
  • 2 stir in marinara sauce (and i add a little salt and pepper).
  • 3 in a medium-sized bowl, combine sour cream and mozzarella cheese.
  • 4 pour ground beef mixture into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. spoon cheese mixture over beef mixture.
  • 5 unroll crescent roll dough on top of cheese mixture.
  • 6 in a small bowl, combine melted butter and parmesan cheese.
  • 7 spread butter mixture over dough.
  • 8 bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes, until the dough is golden brown.
