Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 2/3 cup chopped celery
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
Recipe
- 1 brown ground beef with onions. place in slow cooker.
- 2 combine remaining ingredients and add to slow cooker. mix well. cover and cook on low for 12 hours.
- 3 remove from slow cooker and allow to cool. place in freezer bags or use in recipes. label and freeze.
- 4 to serve: thaw. heat until hot and bubbly.
