Meat Loaf Wellington

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground meat
  • 1 cup small bread cubes
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 5 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Recipe

  • 1 mix 1/2 cup bouillon with bread cubes and add egg. let stand about 5 minutes or until croutons are softened, beat until smooth and fluffy.
  • 2 add meat, onion, salt and pepper.
  • 3 shape into loaf. place in shallow baking pan.
  • 4 bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • 5 separate crescent rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of loaf, overlapping slightly.
  • 6 bake 15 minutes more.
