Our Sunday Pot Roast

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • water
  • 3 lbs beef roast
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 red potatoes
  • baby carrots

Recipe

  • 1 put roast in dutch oven and fill oven until the roast is 3/4 covered.
  • 2 add seasonings.
  • 3 bring to a boil for 30 minutes.
  • 4 reduce heat; simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  • 5 add potatoes and carrots.
  • 6 return to boil for 30 minutes.
