Oven Beef Stew

Total Time: 6 hrs 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 4 -5 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 6 carrots, 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup celery, 1 inch pieces
  • 1 (32 ounce) can tomatoes with juice
  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 1 slice bread, cubed
  • 4 medium onions, cut in chunks
  • 4 tablespoons tapioca
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/3 cup wine (or water)

Recipe

  • 1 layer all ingredients in a large pot and cover.
  • 2 bake at 250 degrees for 5 to 6 hours.
  • 3 do not peek!
