Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans
- 1 (26 ounce) can spaghetti sauce
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 lb ditali pasta
Recipe
- 1 brown beef.
- 2 add onion carrot, celery, and garlic and saute for 10 minutes.
- 3 add remaining ingredients except the pasta and simmer for 1 hour.
- 4 cook pasta according to box and add just before serving, or add uncooked pasta to soup 1/2 hour before serving.
