Meatbals In Broth

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 400 g beef mince
  • 3/4 cup fresh breadcrumb
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/3 cup chili sauce
  • 1 small brown onion, grated
  • 4 cups beef stock
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves

Recipe

  • 1 combine mince, breadcrumbs, garlic, 1 tblsp sweet chilli sauce, onion, salt and pepper.
  • 2 mix well.
  • 3 roll 1 tblsp of mixture at a time into balls.
  • 4 place on tray, cover with plastic, place in fridge till needed.
  • 5 combine beef stock, sugar, lime juice and remaining chilli sauce in large pot.
  • 6 bring to the boil.
  • 7 reduce heat, add meatballs, cook 10 minutes or till meatballs are cooked through.
  • 8 add spinach, cook one minute till wilted.
  • 9 ladle into bowls and serve.
