Oven Beef Stew

Ingredients

- 3 lbs lean stewing beef, in 1 inch chunks
- 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 0.5 (2 1/2 ounce) package dry leek soup mix
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 onion, coarsely chopped
- 5 medium baking potatoes, peeled and cut in eights
- 8 carrots, peeled and halved crosswise
- 2 cups broccoli florets
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350. in a 5 quart dutch oven, combine beef, undiluted soup, soup mix, wine, and onion. mix well.
- 2 top with potato pieces and carrots, mixing in slightly. cover and bake for 2 hours.
- 3 stir in broccoli, cover and bake 15 minutes. remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer.
