Oven Beef Stew

Ingredients

• 1 lb beef stew meat
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix
• 1 1/4 cups water
• 4 potatoes, cubed
• 2 carrots, diced
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

• 1 brown meat in oil in skillet. transfer to a 2 quart casserole.
• 2 combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
• 3 bake for 2-1/2 hours at 350.
