Joani's "i Don't Know What To Call This" Beef Stew

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 2 medium onions, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, chopped
• 2 (500 g) packages lean ground beef
• 1 (800 ml) can whole tomatoes
• 6 tablespoons beef stock mix
• 10 cups water
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 2 orange bell peppers, chopped
• 3 large potatoes, cubed

Recipe

• 1 heat the oil in a large stock pot.
• 2 add the onions and garlic, and cook, stirring regularily, for five minutes.
• 3 add the beef, and stir until browned.
• 4 add the tomatoes, water, brouillon, and paprika.
• 5 stir until mixed, increase heat to a boil.
• 6 when it's boiling, decrease the heat, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.
• 7 add the peppers and potatoes, and let it continue to cook for 15-20 minutes more.
