Kid Friendly Meatloaf With No Onions

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter or 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350.
  • 2 blend all spice ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • 3 mix ground beef with the rolled oats in a larger bowl.
  • 4 mix beaten eggs and worcestershire sauce with the meat mixture.
  • 5 mix the spice mixture with the meat mixture and blend well.
  • 6 form meat mixture into a loaf.
  • 7 place meat loaf on tin foil in a roasting pan.
  • 8 spread the butter on the top and sides of the meat loaf with a knife or spatula.
  • 9 bake at 350 for one hour and 15 munutes.
