Pants Off Dance Off Beef Pita Pockets

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 19 ounces cannellini beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil over med-high heat.
  • 2 add beef, onion, & garlic until meat is no longer pink.
  • 3 drain on paper towels if it's a fatty cut.
  • 4 return to pan.
  • 5 add all remaining ingredients & simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  • 6 spoon into warmed pita bread pockets.
