Einkorn Flour Dog Treats

Ingredients

• 2 bouillon cubes, beef or 2 chicken
• 2/3 cup boiling water
• 1/3 cup salted butter, 76 g
• 1/2 cup powdered milk
• 1 egg, beaten
• 3 cups flour, einkorn

Recipe

• 1 in large bowl pour boiling water over the butter, let cool until just warm.
• 2 stir in powdered milk, and egg.
• 3 add flour, 1 cup at a time.
• 4 knead on a floured board for a few minutes to form stiff dough.
• 5 roll to 1/4 inch thickness. cut into small shapes, using a mini cookie cutter that is about 1/2 inch in diameter.
• 6 place treats on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
• 7 bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. turn cookie sheet in oven, and bake for another 15 minutes, or until cookies do not have any "give" left when pressed.
• 8 cool treats on the parchment paper on wire rack. they will be quite hard. store in covered container.
