Mom's Beef Stew

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • parsley
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen stew vegetables

Recipe

  • 1 season meaet with salt and pepper.
  • 2 roll in flour and brown in oil.
  • 3 add water, bouliion cubes, and seasonings.
  • 4 simmer for minimum of 2 hours.
  • 5 add more water if it becomes too thick.
  • 6 one hour before serving, add vegetables and simmer.
