Pantry Pot Roast

Total Time: 8 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 ounces mixed dried fruit
  • 2 cups onions, wedges
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 5 1/2 ounces apple juice

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat on all sides in cooking oil. drain fat.
  • 2 place in slow cooker with remaining ingredients. cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
